While surfing the Internet earlier this evening, I came across a rather interesting and useful application called Cooliris. Contrary to what some may think, it can be used on WordPress.com blogs, once the “Gigya” shortcode method is employed as explained here: Cooliris embed code adapted for WordPress. (Scroll down to hallluke’s entry.) I tested it by pasting hallluke’s code as is into a page at WordPress.com blog I manage for a friend and it worked. I don’t fully understand everything about it yet but at least I know it works.
Incidentally, it can also be used on Facebook (have a look at Cooliris’ FB page) and a host of other popular platforms.
Give it a try sometime and let me know what you think.
