THE BEST VIEWS OF SINGAPORE FROM THE SANDS SKYPARK

Marina Bay Sands Hotel consists of three unique hotel towers crowned by the magnificent Sands SkyPark. With over 2,500 rooms and suites, Marina Bay Sands Hotel is the biggest hotel in Singapore. The rooms offer views of the South China Sea or Marina Bay and the Singapore skyline. Sitting 200 meters in the sky, the Sands SkyPark offers a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. It’s a tropical oasis of lush gardens, superb restaurants and vast outdoor infinity pools, and offers unrivaled 360 degree views of the Singapore skyline. These image are mirrored over at my Facebook Albums should you prefer to look there but image quality here is better.

A breathtaking view of the Singapore skyline from the observation deck of Sands SkyPark. On the right is the Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel which stands at a height of 165 meter.

Images of the Singapore skyline after hours from inside the Singapore Flyer showing the then under-construction Marina Bay Sands Hotel that lit up the Marina Bay.

An soon as you step onto the observation deck, the walkway is lined by wooden floorboard possibly for several good reasons such as ease of maintenance, safety due to better traction when wet.

A George Michael look alike? On any good day, you can find large number of visitors all wanting to catch a glimpse of the awesome Singapore skyline.
Hotel guests have the exclusive use of a 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at 200 meters. Click on picture to see more images of the pool)

After checking out the 150-meter infinity swimming pool which is also the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height (couldn’t help wishing I was a hotel guest and enjoying the soak), we took a detour from ultra plush restaurant, bar and lounge KU DÉ TA for reason of inappropriate attire (apparently Crocs are considered). Somewhat a blessing in disguise, we quickly found ourselves at the bar on the observation deck where things got interesting.

A watering hole in the sky is quite a sight to behold especially when surrounded by a 360 degree view of the Singapore skyline. I need to make another visit for the breathtaking view at night.

Visitors on the observation deck during happy hour consult a Singapore travel guide.

As we make our way out of the observation deck to resume our day’s programme, the visitor you see above holding a travel guide okays a small request to pose for this photo.

  1. Your photos make MBS look like a fairyland. Maybe the F1 circuit might be extended to “circumnavigate” this new landmark. Majulah Singapura!! Great work, as usual, Jan.
