My room — an Oasia Club Room — located right below the Oasia Club on 22nd floor overlooks Singapore’s newest medical hub, comprising Novena Specialist Centre, Novena Medical Centre, National Skin Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

My breakfast at Oasia Club where sumptuous breakfast is served exclusively to Club guests. All others dine at Zaffron. Here, I have croissant, wild mushrooms, raw salmon, fried rice to start the morning on the day I’m due to leave Singapore.





Located on the eighth floor, our 20-metre pool and pleasurable jacuzzi facilities allow you to soak in the surrounding spectacular views of the cityscape while you relax in complete serenity.

  1. One image caught my eye (not that the others didn’t!) and that’s the 3rd image from the top. Did you pump quite a lot of light into the room? 😉


    1. On this trip (not the recent assignment) I brought along Canon’s smallest Speedlite 270EX (powered by just 2 AA batteries). You obviously know what it takes to balance light outside and inside and I think I might have FEC +1 to get this result. At the last hotel assignment, I had access to three Speedlites and all 3 were utilised (left the 270EX at home when I should have brought it along too).


      1. You only used 270EX for that shot? Thinking about how much glare the Singapore sun has, I thought you used some extreme settings and dumped much more light than that!
        Anyway, I’ll be looking forward to the pictures where you utilised all 3 Speedlites!
