Royal Brunei Airlines (“RBA”), the national carrier of Brunei Darussalam, on Nov 25th, launched their New Generation Technology Suite with the implementation of the Amadeus Altea Customer Management Solution and Amadeus e-Retail Internet booking engine. The launching at The Empire Hotel and Country Club was officiated by Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Abdullah bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Bakar, Minister of Communications.

Our new internet booking engine features include a more attractive and user-friendly interface, clear fare options, detailed booking display with price breakdown, a currency converter, weather forecast of selected destination, and many other features that will please the most discerning of travellers … These new features will greatly enhance RBA’s website to meet the expectation of increasingly Internet-savvy travelling public, “the so-called Social Media Generation”. — Mr Dermot Mannion
