COFFEE TREE PENANG: MORE CAFFEINE THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE

I don't think this was a planned stop-over for us but because we had a bit of time to kill, our guide brought us here presumably she'd heard me mention Starbucks one time too many.

This wall paper is what I would love to have for my home coffee corner. Nothing more appropriate to set the right mood for a cuppa.

Coffee Tree plays host to countless walk-in prospects throughout the day. Here a staff (in yellow) serves one of their many samples to a young couple who, like us, are fascinated by the power of caffeine.

Coffee Tree is very popular with Middle Eastern visitors. Just look at how much coffee these couple have filled their basket with and we've only been there for less than 30 minutes.

Like Facebook, Coffee Tree has a wall plastered with written testimonies from their happy customers. The writings are mainly in Arabic but I picked out one that's in English that pretty much sums up just how much coffee is loved by many.

  1. Hello,

I just wanted to say that as someone who travels quite frequently to Singapore and Malaysia (Mainly for the food it has to be said!) I find your blog wonderful! I love the little hidden gems you uncover on your travels (Wanderlust and Cocotte spring to mind!).

I was wondering if it would be, whenever possible, to include location or address information, maybe through a link to Google Maps. It is quite selfish of me to ask for this, but I have found that we have similar taste in coffee and food, which means I make it a point to visit many of the places you talk about in your blog. Keep up the great work!
