Louis Vuitton Monogram Idylle Bag From New Bond Street London Store

I’ve never been to the United Kingdom but it’s a destination I have long dreamed of visiting someday (wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Europe too). When my sister-in-law brought back this LV piece for my wife, the big tag screamed “New Bond Street”. As it turns out, the original Bond Street is a landmark for all things sophisticated.

London’s famous Bond Street is revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, designer fashion, luxury goods, fine jewels, art and antiques. Set in the heart of Mayfair, in London’s popular West End and encompassed by many of the world’s most outstanding hotels and restaurants, Bond Street is a landmark for all things sophisticated. Since its foundation in 1700, Bond Street has been the playground of society’s wealthiest most stylish and influential people. Past residents of the street include Admiral Horatio Nelson and Lady Emma Hamilton as well as a number of renowned authors and poets. Today, over 300 years on, Bond Street remains a much-loved destination for celebrities, socialites and the international jet set. — Bond Street History

      1. Hi Jan,

I have the Fusian color. I have only had it for three days. It is wonderful. I never really loved LV bags until now. I also have two other bags but always liked Prada nylon bags more until now.

        1. Ah yes, Fusian was the colour my wife wanted. I too thought Fusian looked more ‘premium’ too. Other bags she owns are Coach Convertible Zoe Convertible and a large leather Esprit tote bag I got her for daily commutes to and from work.

Just recently when I went shopping in Singapore I got myself not one but two Esprit bags to store my iPad 2, Canon PowerShot G11, power adapter and other light items. My very first bag was a Country Road canvas document bag that I bought in Australia over 15 years ago. It still looks as good as the day I bought it and big enough to accommodate the iPad too.

Be real. Let me know what you think ...
