A new weekend activity my wife and I recently got ourselves into is trekking in the Sungai Liang Recreational Forest Park a diverse unscathed environmental inheritance that is preserved by the Brunei government. The drive from our residence to the Park is about 30 minutes including the short time we swing by to pick up my cousin and his wife, the usual suspects in our morning conquest. Overnight rain can leave the terrain slippery so proper shoes are highly recommended such as this pair of amphibian Crocs with the right kind of soles for more sure-footed traction.
Early morning walk at Sungai Liang Forest Park rewarded by a gorgeous ray of light falling on our walk path. Hope my G11 caught it! #fb—

I make it a point to bring along my Powershot G11 for opportunity moments like this.

Our reward or shall I say motivation afterwards is breakfast at a wooden shed eatery that goes by a number of names most common of which is “QQ” (the ever so popular kolomee, fried kway teow)
Wow! Beautiful!!
