With the 27th National Day celebration just days away, and numerous rehearsals underway for final preparation, I look forward to the big day when I would be sure to catch up with fellow photographers and friends from the media. Last year was my first National Day participation as media (usually only at His Majesty’s Birthdays) and I shared just the one photo of His Majesty on Facebook. A year later, the rest of my favourite picks from the 26th National Day event are published here.
“Among those present to accompany His Majesty at the royal dais were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince Jefri Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince Hj ‘Abdul ‘Azim, His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.” — BT

His Majesty, the Sultan of Brunei, dressed in a white military outfit and a maroon beret, saluted as the national anthem was played, before headed down to the field to inspect the guard of honour.

Amidst a slight drizzle, His Majesty inspects the guard of honour.

After inspecting the guard of honour, His Majesty returns to the Royal dais where a total of 17,300 participants are set to march past.

A total of 17,300 participants were involved in the march pass, comprising uniformed personnel, government ministries, special needs individuals, district offices, higher learning institutions, public schools, missionary schools, non-profit organisations as well as expatriate communities in Brunei.

Nice photo of Sultan’s salute. You have not only captured the IQ, but the story. Nice work man! Envious.
I like your photos!
Thank you very much :)
