RISING HIGH. BAIDURI BANK.
January 26, 2008 by Jan Shim
On Dec 17, 2007 boarding a flight to Singapore with the kids, I picked up a copy of Brunei Times and on page 2 was the article Baiduri Bank wins UK banking magazine award, “It is the fifth time that the Baiduri Bank has won the recognition [The Banker Awards] in six years after it was adjudged the best in overall performance in terms of qualitative achievements among local banks.”
Two months earlier, I was approached by Baiduri Bank to photograph the made-over facade of their branch in Kiulap that showcases their latest corporate identity seen in the article below. Strictly from an aesthetics point of view, they have successfully distinguished themselves from the other local and global banks by combining the colours green and white.

Baiduri Bank joins the ranks of a number of banks I’ve done work for including HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, TAIB Bank and recently, BIBD.

Hi Jan,
The date should be Dec 17, 2007 and not 2008. Just a minor error. Thanks for taking so much time and effort to update us of what’s happening here in Brunei.
Must have been one of my sleep-deprived, over-caffeined moments. Typo corrected. Thanks!
