July 7, 2007 a.k.a. ‘Triple Seven’ believed to be an auspicious day for weddings, the day was also celebrated by many others in corporate. In my second Shell Emblem photography engagement of the year, DARAT Department celebrated its 2006 Emblem with a theme “A Colourful Night.” Guests were entertained with the usual showcase of colourful decor and great departmental performances that had many in stitches! Some of my favourites are: AREA 51 dude, space in-between, wall of fame, No. 2. That said, I was pleasantly surprised to see my work from 2006 still in pristine condition presented at the Emblem for guests to look at.
I wish to thank the DARAT Emblem 2006 committee for choosing me the second time. Thanks also to Anthony Er who in spite of his busy calendar and my last minute notice agreed to co-shoot this event leaving me room to capture the candid moments and artistic images you see.
